Day 01: Arrival in Delhi, India

Upon arrival at the Delhi airport, the representative from Step On Himalaya will welcome you and then take you to the hotel. After freshening up, you can either rest or roam around the local bazaars of Delhi. Overnight in Delhi

Day 02: Guided Sightseeing in Delhi

Delhi is the capital city of India and is famous for the historical places. Delhi was inhabited since the 6th century B.C. there were invasions, robberies and destructions before and hence was rebuilt many times during the medieval period. Delhi city, at present, is full of houses of ancient and new times, many archeological sites and remains of monuments, palaces, temples, forts, etc. are still present. After having breakfast, you will start the sightseeing tour in different places of Delhi along with the Tour Guide. Some of the important landmarks you will be visiting are India Gate, Jama Masjid, Red Fort, Humayun’s Tomb, Lotus Temple, etc. Overnight in Delhi.

Day 03: Drive from Delhi to Jaipur

You will have your early morning breakfast and leave Delhi city for Jaipur driving for about 5 hours. On the way, you will visit the statue of Lord Shiva. Jaipur, also famous as the “Pink City”, is full of wonders like Hawa Mahal, Jaigarh forts, City Palace, Amber forts, etc. After reaching Jaipur, you will check-into the hotel and then you can stroll around the markets or do shopping if you wish. Day 04: Guided Sightseeing in Jaipur

Today, you will explore the pearls of Jaipur. The representative will take you around the different landmarks of Jaipur after having breakfast. Birla Temple, Nahar Garh Fort, Ram Bagh palaces, Jal Mahal, etc. are some historical places you will be visiting. Elephant ride is also an option. Day 05: Drive from Jaipur to Agra

Agra is today’s destination. After having breakfast, you will drive from Jaipur for about 2 hours to Agra. Agra is famous for the Taj Mahal, which is the tribute for Queen Mumtaz by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in her memory dedicated as a token of love. You will visit the Etmad-Ul-Ah, Jama Masjid, Fatehpur Sikri and Red Fort. The tour will end in the lively handicraft bazaar. Overnight in Agra.

Day 06: Drive from Agra to Delhi airport then flight to Kathmandu

You will drive today for about 4 – 5 hours from Agra to Delhi Airport in order to catch the flight in the afternoon for Kathmandu. It is about 90 minutes flight from Delhi to Kathmandu. After reaching Tribhuwan International Airport, Kathmandu, the representative of Step On Himalaya will welcome you and escort you to the hotel. After being fresh, you can take rest or roam around the appealing Thamel markets. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 07: Guided Sightseeing in Kathmandu

You will today be visiting the UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Kathmandu valley. After taking breakfast, you will be escorted in a private vehicle and taken to Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambhunath stupa, Boudhanath stupa and Pashupatinath temple.

Kathmandu Durbar Square displays the arts and architectures of the medieval period. The Malla dynasty ruled over Nepal during the period from 12th to 18th century. Swayambhunath Stupa is famous as the Monkey Temple. An astonishing view of Kathmandu valley can be seen from here. Boudhanath Stupa is one of the largest and oldest stupas in South Asia. Pashupatinath temple is a famous Hindu temple of Lord Shiva situated on the bank of the holy Bagmati river. After visiting these places, you will be taken back to the hotel. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 08: Flight from Kathmandu to Bhadrapur then drive to Darjeeling

You will catch an early morning flight from Kathmandu to Bhadrapur. After landing in Bhadrapur, you will begin your tour to Darjeeling. The road distance from Bhadrapur to Darjeeling is about 135 km that takes about 4 hours drive. Darjeeling is a small hill town, cushioned among the glistening snowy peaks of Mt Kanchenjunga towering in the amazing blue sky. Darjeeling is also known popularly as the “Queen of the Hills”. Day 09: Guided Sightseeing in Darjeeling

You will get up early in the morning if you do not want to miss the view of the exquisite sunrise from the Tiger Hill. You will visit the Ghoom Monastery, the Himalayan Mountain Institute, the Peace Pagoda, the Darjeeling Toy Train and Tea Estate. The Ghoom Monastery was established by Lama Sherub Gyatsho in 1850 A.D. The Himalayan Mountain Institute was built as an encouragement for mountaineering as an organized sport. The tea-gardens in Darjeeling are simply marvelous which lie about 1 km away as tourists spots. Overnight in Darjeeling.

Day 10: Final drive to Bagdogra airport and Flight to Delhi

You will drive for about 3 hours to Bagdogra airport and take a flight to Delhi. From Delhi airport, you will board onto the International flight to your home.
