Pokhara, Lumbini and Chitwan Tour

Arrival in Tribhuwan International Airport. You will be welcomed at the airport arrival gate by the representative of Step On Himalaya and then transfer you to the hotel. After you get fresh, we will have our dinner and discussion about the trip. Stay Overnight in the hotel.

After early morning breakfast, we will head to the domestic airport to fly to Pokhara. It will take about 25 – 30 minutes to reach Pokhara. The flight to Pokhara offers the spectacular views of the mighty Himalayas. After reaching Pokhara, we will keep the luggage in the hotel and then go around the Pokhara city. Firstly, we will visit the amazing viewpoint i.e. Sarangot, the Tibetan Refugee Camp, the famous Devi’s fall and the Seti river from the Mahendra pool. If you want, we can do Paragliding from Sarangkot. During boating in the Phewa Lake, the reflection of the Mt. Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) along with the Annapurna I, Mt. Manaslu and other peaks is striking. Stay overnight in the hotel of Pokhara.

We will drive for about 5 – 6 hours to Lumbini win a private vehicle immediately after having breakfast. The birthplace of Lord Buddha, Lumbini is an amazing place. It is one of the holiest places. The Shakya Tank, the Maya Devi temple, the Ashoka pillar, the World peace pagoda, the Lumbini museum, the stupas and vihar built by different countries are the main highlights of Lumbini. After taking the short tour in Lumbini, we will take you to the hotel where you stay overnight.

Early morning breakfast and then drive from Lumbini to Chitwan in a private vehicle. It might take about 5 – 6 hours to reach Chitwan. After reaching Chitwan, you will be taken to a hotel or guesthouse in Sauraha and then we will enjoy the cultural tour with the Tharu dance and the riverside sunset view. 3 meals included.

After the bird watching and eating Breakfast, we will drive you to the Bharatpur airport to catch the flight back to Kathmandu. After arriving at Kathmandu, you will be taken to the hotel to keep the luggage and then for the sightseeing tour in the major places of Kathmandu valley.

At first, we will visit the Pashupatinath Temple. This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. There is four-faced Shiva lingum at the center of the temple, the phallic symbol. The cremation area for funeral i.e. Aryaghat is built at the bank of Bagmati river.

Next stop is Boudhanath stupa. This is one of the biggest Buddhist stupas in Nepal. Dedicated to Lord Buddha, the stupa has 4 pairs of eyes believing they are keeping an eye on us for maintaining peace and harmony.

Patan Durbar Square is a popular historical place where we can enjoy so many ancient monuments and amazing architects, statues and temples. Patan is famous as the “City of Fine Arts”. Since those were built during Malla reign, we can see the arts and architectures during the Medieval period. After the tour, we will head to the hotel for rest and stay overnight.

After having breakfast, we will walk towards the local market of Ason bazaar. Continuing the walk, we will arrive at Kathmandu Durbar Square. There are antiques which are kept for sale in Basantapur. After spending some time, we will now go to Swayambhunath stupa.

Swayambhunath Stupa is famous as the “Monkey Temple” as we can see numerous monkeys around. From here, we can enjoy the striking panoramic view of the Kathmandu valley in the lap of Himalayas. We will then return to the hotel and enjoy the spare time shopping or roaming around. Farewell dinner in the evening with the team or representative of Step On Himalaya. Breakfast and Dinner are included.
