Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA) Kathmandu (1,350 m/4,428 ft)

On the day of arrival usually, no activities are planned but can be modified as per the need of the guest. The representative of Step On Himalaya will help you check into the hotel, getting belongings and overnight stay.

Day 02 : Kathmandu to Lukla Flight and Trekking to Phakding (2652m/8699ft)

Flight to Lukla via Kathmandu Domestic Airport, of duration about 30-35 minutes. Plans: at 5:00 am in the morning, travel to the airport for the flight of Lukla. It is an awesome experience to fly over Lukla. The runway of Lukla Airport is about 60 meters long which is situated at an altitude of 2,800m/9184ft. Upon arrival at the Lukla airport, the trekking guide from Step On Himalaya will give a brief about the trek and then the walk starts. A trek of about 8km for about 3 hours from Lukla airport to the Phakding at a height of 2,652m/8,698ft enjoying the scenic views of Kusum Kangraru. Overnight stay with all meals included.

Day 03 : Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440 m/11283 ft)

Trek start from Phakding to reaches Namche Bazaar situated at an altitude of 3,440m/11,283ft which is about 10-12km walking about 7 hrs, tracing the trail through the Dudh Koshi. Namche Bazaar is a center of business where Nepalese and Tibetan traders sell foodstuffs and clothes. On the way, you can view the mesmerizing glimpse of Mount Everest and the other Himalayas. Overnight stay with all meals included.

Day 04 : Namche Bazaar - Day Hike (Everest View Hotel (3867 m/12687 ft) and Khumjung/Khunde) 3,790 m (12,430 ft)

Excursion around Namche Bazaar                       

Plans: Visit the Everest View Hotel walking for about an hour for an amazing panoramic view of the Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse and Mt.Ama Dablam. Also visits the traditional Sherpa villages of Khumjung/Khunde, Sherpa Culture Museum and Everest Photo Gallery on the way back to Namche Bazaar. If there is any problem regarding acclimatization and your comfort, please communicate with the trekking guide. Overnight stay with all meals included.

Day 05 : Namche to Lukla (2800m/9184ft) 7-8 hrs

Hike back to Lukla from Namche Bazaar

Plans: Walk along the trails of the Dudh Kosi River to the small mountains at Lukla for the flight tomorrow to Kathmandu. Overnight at guesthouse, full board meals included.

Meal: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Day 06 : Lukla to Kathmandu (1,350 m/4,428 ft)

Boarding Flight back to Kathmandu

Plans: After landing at the airport in Kathmandu, checking to the hotel for overnight stay. Breakfast included.

Day 07 : Departure to your destination

Flight from Tribhuvan International Airport

Plans: The representative of Step On Himalaya will escort you in a private vehicle till the Tribhuwan International Airport at least 3 hours before the scheduled flight. Departure from Nepal with a bunch of incredible memories.
