Lumbini, famous as the birthplace of Lord Buddha, the preacher of peace is an amazing historical and religious place in Nepal. There are many monasteries and stupas built by different countries in honor of Lord Buddha to pay them homage. There is a holy pond where Queen Mayadevi, the mother of Lord Buddha, dips into it before giving birth to Lord Buddha. You can also see the remains of the palace where the Shakyas lived. The real name of Lord Buddha is Siddhartha Gautam. Lumbini is a sacred place not only for Buddhists but also for other religions.

Chitwan lies in the Tarai region of Nepal. Chitwan National Park was established in 1973. This Chitwan National Park was listed under the World Heritage Sites in 1984. Chitwan National Park is famous for its jungle safari and protection of unique wildlife. It is spread over an area of 360 sq.m. (932 km2). There are river valleys in the Churia Hills. Parsa Wildlife Reserve and Indian Tiger Reserve Valmiki National Park lie next to Chitwan National Park. The combo of Chitwan-Parsa-Valmiki covers an area of 1,370 SQm. (3,549 km2).

After an early morning breakfast, you will drive from Kathmandu to Lumbini. This is about 315 kilometers that will take about 7 – 8 hours. As soon as, you arrive at Lumbini, you will be taken to the hotel. You will keep the luggage and get ready for the tour around Lumbini. The major highlights of Lumbini are Ashoka pillar, Maya Devi Temple, Maya Devi Pond, etc. You will return to the hotel after the tour is over. Stay overnight.

Meal: Breakfast

You will receive a wakeup call. You will then drive from Lumbini to Chitwan for about 4 hours. The program is briefed as:
