TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Like every company, Step on Himalaya has also its own Terms and Conditions for any type of trip like Trekking, Climbing, Hiking, Tour, Rafting, Paragliding, Jungle Safari, Bungee Jumping, etc.

Booking and Confirming the Trip is Necessary:

While booking any Trip, a form needs to be filled up. All the clients are requested to fill out the form for booking and then confirming the Trip. It’s a necessity to book and confirm the trip ahead. As soon as you fill out the form for booking, you will be in the criteria of PROVISIONAL CONFIRMATION. After you will pay 25% of the charge for the trip, this will be the FINAL CONFIRMATION. Once the form is submitted, the team of Step on Himalaya will email you with all the details of Payment Options and other Required Information.

• At least 40 days before the arrival, you have to pay the 35% in advance via PayPal Wire Transfer or any other Money Transfer to the bank account mentioned in the email. A confirmation receipt will be sent via email after the payment is received.
• The balance amount is to be paid once you arrive in Kathmandu.
• The surcharges incurred during the money transfer, PayPal, Credit Card, or bank transactions will be borne by the clients.

Canceling of the Trip and Refunding:

In case of any emergencies or mishaps or natural disasters or war or conflict, if the trip will be canceled, we will refer and arrange an alternative trip. If you don’t like the alternative trip, you will get a refund with the cancellation charges accordingly. The levied cancellation charges are as follows:

50 days or more before departure: 25%

41 – 50 days before departure: 50%

26 – 40 days before departure: 75%

01 – 25 days before departure: 90%

In case of cancellation before the arrival in Kathmandu, the cancellation charges will be as follows:

40 days before arrival: 100%

30 days before arrival: 50%

29 days and less: NO REFUND

 ***Note: A written notification must be sent to cancel any trip legally. In case the clients decide to leave the trip at any time, the charge for the return is to be borne by the client themselves. Any change in the program due to any unforeseen reason is the right of the Step on Himalaya but you will be informed on a regular basis.

Food and Accommodation:

During the Kathmandu stay, you can go around the city and taste the varieties of local and international food items. But in the mountains, the food is not the same even if the dishes are named the same. Meals and accommodation are included in the package during the trek. In some places, only basic food items and lodges or tea houses with basic services may be available. Please consider and try to adjust accordingly. 

Essential documents:

A valid Passport with a valid visa is essential before traveling to Nepal. The information regarding the other necessary documents will be sent in the email and you are the one to arrange it accordingly in your home country. Other required documentation like TIMS permits, permits to national parks, local and government taxes, entrance fees, etc. will be managed and prepared by the team of Step on Himalaya.
