Pokhara is famous as a tourist destination worldwide. Getting the chance to explore Pokhara is worth enough while being in Nepal. One Day Pokhara tour is actually not sufficient to wander around the Pokhara valley but visiting some historical and religious places can be arranged in a day. Pokhara is about 200 kilometers away from Kathmandu. It will take about 25 – 30 minutes via air and about 6 – 7 hours via tourist bus. The Pokhara day tour is a grand opportunity to unveil the natural secrets for which Step on Himalaya is ready to arrange all the facilities and provide the utmost services. This lifetime experience will surely be a different type of excursion in the Pokhara Valley. The natural, cultural, and historical aspects of Pokhara will be revealed and will fascinate you to come back to visit Pokhara again.
The one-day scenic Pokhara day tour will start after breakfast. We will commence the tour by watching the sunrise from Sarangkot which is about a 25 – 30 minute drive from Pokhara. Then, we will head back to Pokhara city where we can start by Boating in Fewa Lake and paying a visit to the Barahi Temple at the center of Fewa Lake. Then we can visit the other famous temple i.e. Bindyabasini temple where offerings are made to Goddess Durga. The next stop will be followed by Tibetan Refugee Camp then Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave. The cave is a mysterious holy cave as a religious symbol of Lord Shiva. Davis’ Fall is located about 2 kilometers southwest of the Pokhara Airport, nearby Gupteshwor Mahadev cave. The Davis’ fall is known as “Patale Chango”.There is a legend that a Swiss traveler drowned in this waterfall taking his girlfriend with him, hence, was named after his name.
Pokhara Valley is actually full of adventurous plus cultural activities. The Pokhara Day tour can be comprised of Canoeing, Paragliding, Zip-Line, Kayaking, Fishing, Rock Climbing, Ultra-Light, etc. As one day Pokhara tour is short of time, we advised you to extend the tour for these entertaining activities if possible. Also, we can go hiking to nearby hills like Sarangkot, Ghorepani, Poon Hill, etc. The One-day Pokhara scenic tour ends at around 5 – 6 pm after visiting the World Peace Stupa that was established on the hillside above the Fewa Lake. We can have a magical panoramic view of the Himalayan ranges from the stupa. After this, the Guide (representative of Step on Himalaya) will take you to your hotel. You can visit the lakesides or shop around the local markets if you do not want to rest. Step on Himalaya is always ready for any kind of changes in the Itinerary, but kindly do inform ahead to make your trip comfortable.
